Bought-in goods are not allowed; all goods must be made by the person offering them for sale.
No food or drink to be sold specifically for immediate consumption.
Only agreed furniture can be brought on the day – if you are bringing additional furniture to your table, please state in the ‘special requirements’ section of the booking form.
Stallholders must have their own Public Liability Insurance and provide information (if applicable) about recent health inspections. Stallholders must agree to Trading Standards and Local Environmental Health Officers being contacted regarding any issues which may affect their ability to attend the market, and assist in any inspection required.
A risk assessment will be completed by Morecambe and Lunesdale Labour, for the event as a whole. If you would like to see a copy, or if you see any additional risks occurring as a result of your stall please inform email@example.com
No raffles, tombola, lotteries or prize draws are allowed unless previously agreed with the organiser.
Stallholders are responsible for ensuring their displays and props do not obstruct or endanger in any way the public or any other stall-holder, and should be aware of their own and others’ health and safety. Neither the organiser nor the venue can be held responsible for any type of damage, injury or loss, however caused.
Stallholders should keep their area clean and tidy and not obscure fire exits, or other stalls. We reserve the right to move/remove items which block fire exits.
At the close of the event, all pitches should be left clean and completely free of rubbish. It is the responsibility of the stall-holder to dispose of their own rubbish and not leave it on the stall.
For safety reasons, no lit candles (or similar items) are permitted.
Stall-holders must be present throughout advertised opening hours. All set-up must be completed prior to the opening time and the stall may only be packed away after the advertised closing time, unless otherwise agreed with the organiser.
Acceptance of applications and allocation of stall positions are at the discretion of the organisers. Stall-holders are not allowed to move or change their pitch themselves, without prior permission.
All payments are to accompany the booking and, if accepted, are non-refundable unless a suitable substitute stall-holder is booked or the event is cancelled.
The organiser and venue accept no liability for loss of earnings as a result of any circumstances, nor for any other action by any third party beyond their control.
