Councillor Tracy Brown
Tracy Brown was born in Morecambe, brought up on Branksome Estate and educated at Morecambe Community High. Tracy has raised four Children and is married to a serving soldier. Tracy will continue to work with all members of the community helping to raise standers of lifestyle for many people and their families. Within her work she is a Qualified Nursery Nurse and Play worker in a local school and runs a small actives that’s supports the regeneration of Morecambe enhancing the quality of urban space. Tracy is an Active member of the Labour Party- Chair of Morecambe Branch, Vice Chair of CLP- Campaigns. Lancaster City Council councillor Westgate Ward – Children’s and Young person’s Champion, Council Business committee. Morecambe Town Council Westgate Ward – Chair of Community Engagement and Grants Committee Other organisations including, Morecambe Events Co-operative and Director of ‘Go Morecambe’ CIC.
Councillor Claire Cozler
Claire Cozler was born in Hackney, London, and educated at The Grey Coat Hospital, Westminster. She then worked and studied in London, the North-West and in Europe, until she chose to study for her M.A, and raise her two children in Morecambe, eleven years ago, and she has been here ever since. Claire has worked in Community Arts, in Education, in everything from F.E. through to Early Years, and across the Public Sector both here and in the EU, and would like to use her experiences to help others. Since moving to Morecambe, she has been involved in volunteering for many arts projects, including the Morecambe Variety Festival, and would like to see the Arts help in the regeneration of Morecambe as a place to live, work, and visit. Claire is an active member of Morecambe Labour Party, and is the City Councillor for Westgate Ward, the Chair of Appeals Committee, a member of Budget and Performance Committee, and a sub on Licencing Regulatory Committee. She is also a Town Councillor on Morecambe Town Council for Westgate Ward, and serves on the Festivals and Events and Community Engagement Committees, and is a sub on the Planning Committee. Claire is also the Lancaster City Council Joint Disability Champion, and as a person who has a disability herself, wants to actively help people with a disability, both directly and in terms of national campaigning and networking.
