Visit to Skerton Community Centre and St Lukes Primary

I had a wonderful afternoon campaigning in Skerton on Wednesday afternoon. Firstly I popped into Skerton Community Centre, a hidden gem along Slyne Road, to meet staff and members of the Autumn Club. I spent a lovely hour and a half chatting to people who told me the centre was a lifeline and coming to the Autumn Club was a treat of a day out. I left them to enjoy their afternoon bingo session and moved on to chat to parents outside St Luke’s Primary School where I was joined by Mary Creagh, the Shadow International Development Secretary.
