Morecambe and Lunesdale Welcomes Two VIP's in 24 Hours

We have had a very busy and exciting Easter weekend. If we return a Labour MP on 7th May, this is a sign of things to come.

On Friday Ed Miliband, leader of the Labour Party, came to visit, speaking to local people and setting out to the media the importance of returning a Labour Government in May and why seats like Morecambe and Lunesdale are vital to that vision. Ed is believed to be the first Labour leader since 1979 to visit the constituency and promised we would not have to wait 36 years for another visit. I will be holding him to that promise, should I be your MP.
On Saturday Michael Glen, Morecambe's Master of Ceremonies, officially opened our office in his resplendent manner. Michael is an important local celebrity and much loved by the local community. It was an honour to have Michael in his official capacity, welcoming members, volunteers and residents working hard to return a Labour MP and a Labour Government.
Please do pop in to the office if you can offer any support for the campaign. Polling Day is going to be crucial so if you can give a few hours on 7th May, get in touch with Janet or Daniel. Let's have no 'if only' moments.
See you on the campaign trail.
Take care,
