Come and hear from some of our best and most experienced activists why doorstep canvassing is such a key campaign activity, learn how to approach and engage voters and gather important data, and how to "run the board" and accurately record the data for use on election day.

The session is open to all members with an interest in electoral campaigning. For first-timers we will have role-play to help you engage confidently with voters, and even seasoned door-knockers can expect to pick up some good advice as well as sharing their own experience. Following the training, we will head out to canvass the surrounding area, pairing new and experienced campaigners until you feel confident to fly solo.

Meet at Battismore Road Labour Hall for 10:30am, then after the training we will go out canvassing until approximately 1pm (weather permitting).

In a later session (to be announced) we will discuss some other essential campaigning activities including data entry and telephone canvassing.
