Tony Taylor from the "Make Votes Matter" & the "Labour Campaign for Electoral Reform" will join Morecambe & Lunesdale CLP to discuss the Labour case for Proportional Representation in the House of Commons. Tony says, "Electoral reform is not a technical issue - it's about the kind of democracy we want to have, the kind of party we want to be, and the kind of society we want to live it. The voting system has a profound effect on all three of these and there is mounting evidence showing that PR - not First Past the Post - is the best way to transform society for the benefit of the many, not the few." Join Tony to hear how Proportional Representation can form a part of his organisation's radical vision for the UK, take part in the discussion, and hear what you can do to make this a reality!
