Back The Bill

Tomorrow our current MP has a chance to prove he means what he says - I challenge David Morris to back the NHS Bill.

Amina Lone opposes NHS privatisation

In August, Morecambe and Lunesdale's Tory MP claimed he was "against all privatisation of the NHS". Tomorrow he has a chance to prove it.

Labour's Clive Efford MP is bringing a Bill before parliament proposing to put an immediate stop to any more privatisation of the NHS and to restore the duty of the Secretary of State for Health to provide National Health Services. You can read more detail about the Bill, and sign the petition to support it, by clicking here.

It's time for our MP to put up or shut up. Mr Morris, you are either in favour of more privatisation of the NHS, or you are against it. If you are against, you have to vote for the NHS Bill tomorrow. No excuses.

I look forward to finding out which way you vote. The people of Morecambe and Lunesdale will be watching you.
